Travel tips:

Zagreb - the capital of the Republic of Croatia
The first document which mentions the name of the city of Zagreb is from 1094. Zagreb is the capital, with a population of about 800 thousand inhabitants on an area of 650 square kilometers north of the Republic of Croatia where it is breached by Sava River. The city is just 170 km away from the Adriatic Sea, and rises 122 meters above sea level. In 1991 when Croatia became an independent Country, Zagreb became the Capital and headquarters of all the political and administrative institutions in the country , its considered the economic center as well as a cultural, artistic and entertainment center, it is a birthplace of many famous scientists, artists, athletes.
