H.E. Asma Naji Al Amri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Holy See (non-resident), attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Pope, His Holiness Leo XIV, on Sunday, May 18, 2025. During a meeting with the Pope, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, the Emir of the State of Qatar, and emphasized the State of Qatar’s desire to strengthen relations between the two countries within the framework of dialogue between cultures and religions.
