His Holiness Pope/Francis received the credentials of H.E. Mrs. Asma Naji Al-Amri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar accredited to the Holy See (non-resident) on Saturday, 06/08/2024, and the Ambassador was accompanied by the Second Secretary, Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Sada.

H.E. Expressed her thanks, appreciation, and aspiration to develop the relationship between the State of Qatar and the (Holy See) Vatican City in various fields while strengthening common bonds. She also conveyed the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the state of Qatar, to His Holiness the Pope and His Highness’s wishes for His Holiness's good health and wellness.

For his part, the Pope wished the ambassador success in performing her duties, looking forward to international cooperation to confront the current global challenges, and extended his greetings to H.H. the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
