On September 19, 2023, H.E. Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Andrej Plenković, welcomed the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar H.E Mr. Ghanem bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim, along with the accompanying delegation.

The two sides stressed the good relations between the two countries, noting in particular the status of religious communities in society, which is considered an example in the Republic of Croatia. They discussed possibilities for developing cooperation in areas of common interest.
