On September 19, 2023, the Head of the Croatian Catholic Diocese, Archbishop Dražen Kutleša, hosted the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar, H.E Mr. Ghanem bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim, with the accompanying delegation, at the diocese’s headquarters in Zagreb.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation based on mutual respect and equality between religious sects, in light of the cooperation law concluded between the Islamic center in Zagreb and the Croatian government, so that it reflects the impact of this cooperation on all social aspects and relations between religious minorities in the Republic of Croatia.
